- Inspect radiator & hoses, heater hoses & heater core, waterpump bearing vent hole, engine block freeze plugs, thermostat housing & any other water housings. We pressure tested the radiator cap & it does not hold any pressure, should hold 13-15 psi, needs new cap. We pressure the cooling system & found the upper radiator hose leaks where the hose connects to the engine, we recommend remove the hose & clean the corrosion from the hose fitting on the engine.
- Pressure gauge readings: high side 150 psi, low side 30 psi, center vent temp is 42 degrees. These are normal readings. There is a code for the a/c system stored in computer memory: B1642 a/c freon flow sensor circuit open. We would need to diagnose this code. The customer has declined.
- Replace Radiator cap
- UPPER RADIATOR HOSE – Replace
